The rollercoatser starts with a low amountof KE because it's just starting to move, it dos'nt have any GPE because it has no potential to fall. Point 1 has the most GPE because it's the highest point on the rollercoaster. Point 3 has increasing GPE because it's close to the ground but it's getting higher. Point 4 has increasing GPE because it's off the ground but it's not as high as it could be. Point 1 has the least amount of KE because it's at the top of the hill and is'nt moving yet.
Point 3 had decreasing KE because it's slowing down because it's going up the hill. Point 4 has decreasing KE as well because it's slowed down and is at the top of the hill but it still has some KE because it is slow. KE and GPE are connected by amount.There has to be the same total amount of energy. Some of which is KE, some of which is GPE.
